[see internet, the Eggerts were very influential in the chronometer field, and Simon Willard, Jr., even apprenticed briefly to Dominic Eggert). -

C.1930, [dated], Swedish, Sterling Silver and onyx presentation clock, with 8-day Lenzkirch lever movement, the statue and base signed by the silversmith, W. A. Bolin, Sweden's Royal Court Jeweller, plus hallmarks for1929, the movement contained in a round silver ball with rear access. -

C.1864, L. E. Whiting, Saratoga Springs, NY, "Timby Solar Time-Piece, No. 288, mahogany case with double 12 hour dial, 6" terrestrial globe, and minute dial below. The patent for this hard to find clock was held by Theodore R. Timby, who designed the clock and developed the movement. -
