Description
The rope parts are painted black. The lower glass is signed, "Aichi Clock Co.", has a fancy latch on the door, and a complete label inside, in English, which means the clock was made for export to an English speaking country. Good brass bezel and ring, old hands, and a dark paper dial. I cannot be sure if the dial paper is original. The movement is 8 day, striking on a coil gong, and the brass pendulum is of the type used.
