  Japan, ÓAÒ on dial, probably Aichi of Nagoya, BLINKING EYE parlor clock, with typical open spring movement, this one with lever escapement, the balance showing on the dial, and with a hidden connection from the lever to the eyes that produces animation. The case of Germanic influence, with embossed brass caryatids and buttons, and surmounted by a spread wing bird, c1905
