Attributed to Johann Baptiste Beha, Eisenbach, Germany, "No. 508" model shelf cuckoo, 50 hour, time and strike with calling cuckoo bird, spring driven movement in an elaborately carved case replete with foliate, vine, and fence decorations. The wooden dial with Roman numerals and white hands, all on a matching carved wall bracket. See Justin Miller's book, Appendix A, Beha Catalog 1895-1900, page 7, No. 508. -
