Elmer O. Stennes, Weymouth, Mass, banjo timepiece, mahogany cross-banded case, weight driven 8-day with a naval battle scene from 1812; this clock No. 12 of 1968. Dr. Newman drove to Weymouth and purchased this clock in Nov. '68, prior to Elmer murdering his wife on Dec 2, 1968; he drove back the following year and purchased the Stennes lyre banjo that is also in this sale. -
