Description
as you can see from the foto, this is a good looking clock. However it is not for the purist. A rectangular portion of wood behind the head has been totally replaced with a lighter section of wood, and the movement is from another banjo clock. Three empty holes in back of head. The center and lower baffles are both missing; no pendulum tie down. Barb style hands are new. Carved leaf lyre cover is not as old as balance of clock. Dial is old/ period, but extra holes around the head indicate another dial earlier. Ht 39"
