Some are time and ship's strike while others are time only and twin-spring time only. One wood case, one phenolic case, with the rest are in brass cases, most with silvered dials. -

When connected and coordinated, these clocks sent a signal to the ship's steering servos to automatically add variation to the ship's course, thus reducing the chances of being hit by a torpedo. -
