F. Kroeber Clock Co., New York, "Indian Hunter V.P.", 8 day, time and strike spring brass movement metal front mantel clock. This a Nicholas Muller case No. 181 and is stamped on the case. The statue is copied from the original by John Quincy Adams Ward, a famous American sculptor, which was completed in 1886 and stands in Central Park, New York. Herman Muller, son of Nicholas and brother-in-law of Kroeber, was granted a patent for this case design in 1880, seven years after his father's death. -
