Early brass dial with silvered chapter ring, ringed winding holes, engraved center, date calendar, second's bit, applied brass spandrels, dolphins in arch flanking the silvered penny-moon phase and signed by maker engraved on chapter ring at 6. -
John Law, Beith, (Scotland) tall case clock, 8 day, time, bell strike with calendar, weight driven movement in a mahogany case with broken arch top, fluted rosettes, carved gilded flame finial, fluted corner columns with carved tops flanking hood over a trunk with contoured door top, flanked by top fluted corner columns with carved tops on a base with straight bracket feet. The brass engraved dial has a silvered chapter ring, engraved spandrels and dial center, calendar aperture at 6, sweep second's and signature boss. The unusual calendar mechanism displays both date and month, with specialized marking to indicate 30 or 31 days, in two apertures. -

The painted iron dial, attributed to William Jones, Philadelphia dial manufacturer, has rose spandrels, moon phase with ship of the line scene, date aperture and second's bit. -

The painted metal dial with maker's signature has date calendar, sweep seconds and moon phase. The dial's false plate is signed "PATTON & JONES PHILA". -

James Arthur, The Arthur Company, New York, NY for his son Daniel Arthur, "Remontoire Regulator No. 1 with Deadbeat Escapement" floor standing astronomical regulator, 8 days, time only, weight driven movement with a remontoir wheel and carriage that lifts once per minute, providing power to the escape wheel The skeletonized damascened movement is stamped in several places "1" has a perforated center tube surrounding a temperature compensating steel, brass and aluminum pendulum rod and is housed in a pine case with mirrored back. The astronomical dial has three silvered chapter rings for seconds, minutes and hours, below which is a presentation plaque to James Arthur's son Daniel and dated June 13th, 1901 -

Horner, New York with gargoyle top, fluted and turned corner columns topped by Corinthian capitals on hood, cut out frets, beveled glass doors, carved corner columns, two raised panels on each side, resting on a base with checkerboard panels on sides and front on huge furry paw feet. The engraved brass dial has applied corner spandrels, silvered chapter and second's rings and moon phase. -
