the case has been refinished but the clock is in otherwise excellent original condition and the movement has been recently serviced. For reference please see Derek Roberts' "Precision Pendulum Clocks: France, Germany, America and Recent Advancements", pages 206 & 207. Seven of these rare Arthur regulators were manufactured including one presented to his daughter and one located at the NAWCC museum in Columbia, PA.
