French, very large swing clock, Patinated spelter tree limbs entwined at the top to form the support for the swinging clock. A romantic couple are seated in a swing, appearing to suspend by rope, The original marble base with a brass title plaque: "Idylle Printaniere, par Geo Maxim", the couple swinging from side to side without apparent impulse, c1890 -
French, Guilmet, rare automaton "LOOM" from the industrial series, a conventional time and bell strike movement, with the exposed gears and loom driven by a weight falling down the right side of the base, the "motor" for the loom, a large heavily made clockwork movement with dual vane fan governor. Typical of Guilmet's designs, the loom includes a thermometer to the left and an aneroid barometer to the right , c1880 -

France, for Wright, Kay and Co., Detroit, eight day time and strike crystal regulator in a large size, polished brass case with columns, columns and case with champleve enamel ornament, gilt dial mask decorated with engraved acanthus leaf on a matted ground, pierced and engraved gilt dial with Arabic numerals and champleve border, with a well executed portrait miniature of a fashionable young woman below the six, blued steel hands, four beveled glass panels, round French movement with Brocot escapement, striking the hours and half hours on a gong, mercury pendulum c1880 -
Walter H. Durfee, Providence, Rhode Island, for Bailey, Banks and Biddle, Philadelphia, Penn. on dial, 9 tube hall clock, 8 day, time, strike and 1/4 chime three weight driven movement playing Westminster or Whittington tune on tubes signed by Walter Durfee with patent date 1887 and with single jar mercury pendulum. The silvered brass dial has moon phase with elk scene, strike / silent and tune selector discs. The case is oak with a dark walnut finish and has carved cornice moldings, 11 raised panels, barley twist columns, of which four are flanking the trunk and two are flanking hood, sunburst carving above trunk door and beveled glass in hood and trunk doors. There are exceptional lion's head escutcheons on both hood and trunk doors, c1895 -

Maxime, the candelabra also with pruned trunks supporting vines, each with a single Putti, ending in spreading branches with leaves and budding flowers, each supporting one bud form candle cup, and supported by marble bases on 4 rustic feet, with key c1880 -
