Description

Condition: with the exception that the original cords have been replaced with chain, and replacement weights turned from brass, the clock is in overall excellent original condition. Numerals on the dial are a bit discolored from someone holding a candle too close at night. (note numerals on the dial are movable to compensate for the changing length of day) The alarm train is intact, and there is a small chain for it, but again this should be a small cord, passing over sharp spears in the center of the drive wheel. Needs alarm wt. A relatively late Japanese lantern, and in nice condition because of it. Ht of clock = 8", with bracket = 15"
