Description

walnut case in original finish with 8 day time, strike, day of the week and month spring driven brass movement with cup bell and perpetual calendar dial; round 8" dials, one above the other with upper being Seth Thomas paper replacement of original painted tin with Arabic numerals, lower painted tin dial with Patented Feb. 15, 1876; case with stepped bracket base, reeded pilasters and stepped cornice with scrolled pediment and applied rosettes with reeded plinth center having turned and dentate finial; interior with original printed paper directions label; 14.75" wide x 5.75" deep x 27.5" high.From the Estate of John Auraden of Hamilton & Fairhaven, Ohio.As above, else EXC.
