Description
The mahogany case retains its original finish with painted flowers and ornamental scenes. There is a ding on the upper molding, couple of splits in veneer, and minor scrapes, but overall it is still very good. The dial numbers have faded a little and there is a chip at the three o'clock position, which is not visible when the door is closed. The original lower tablet in the door is cracked in three places, but the glass is held in the door frame, and none is missing. The hands are original. The well made round French movement strikes a gong and is signed simply "Made in France". An attractive clock. Height 22Ó $250-$350
