Description

We have never seen this model before and it is not shown in any Seth Thomas trade catalogs. But, we have two of them! We can date the clock to the 1870's because of the trademark on the dial of this clock. It has original spade hands, the dial is in good condition with just minor flaking. It has the small Thomaston label with eagle often seen in timepieces. It has a "T" type 30-hour movement as shown in Tran Duy Ly's Seth Thomas Clocks and Movements, 1996, p. 482. The finish is original. See also clock No.174. Minor nicks on rt side of case only noticeable on close inspection. Height 11Ó $200-$300
