The Centigrade thermometer at top has a white porcelain scale, from -20 to 40. The barometer has a printed paper scale that is still bright with no stains, and seems to be indicating properly. There are some minor nicks in the carved case which have been stained in a walnut color, but it is overall excellent; note 4 fluted columns at top would go well with a French 4 column box clock.
