Birdseye Maple

Birdseye Maple has creamy white to reddish-brown heartwood. Its original white color is preferred but must be dried carefully. The famous birdseye figure can be scattered over the entire tree, or appear in irregular stripes and patches, with a heavy eye pattern especially prized.
