E. Ingraham and Co., "242", 8-day time/strike/alarm oak mantel clock, commemorative series with winged cherubs at work, top left with hammer, anvil and vice, bottom sections w/ cherubs turning a handle on some fanciful contraption, and with an Army/Navy base molding with stars and anchors. Pressed oak case retains its original crazed finish. This was a special order case produced for a customer as indicated on the partial label on the whose name we cannot read. Original paper dial has age darkened. Hands, pendulum and tablet are original. Circa 1905. -
