Regnault Fils, Chesnier & Sarrazin, Paris, a large figural mantel clock with front mounted pendulum, the bronzed spelter case with break front base on scroll feet, draped with foliate garlands, and further ornamented with masks, front with relief panel featuring recumbent, addorsed gryphons, and laurel molded, conforming plinth supporting a young male figure, the clock case surrounded by laurel fronds and held aloft in his left hand, a lyre in his right, with three disporting putti at his feet, patinated dial with applied, Roman numeral cartouches, pierced and engraved gilt hands, and with ornamental pendulum oscillating in front of the dial, signed, 8 day, time and strike pendule de Paris movement with Brocot escapement behind the back plate -
