Irvin Thomas Rosen (1915-2010) of McKinley and Middlebrook, Virginia, 8 day, time and strike spring driven movement ripple molding shelf clock. This one is marked No. 11. Mr. Rosen, was the individual who designed a machine to reproduce ripple molding as used by J. C. Brown and others on clocks c. 1850. This process had been lost over the years. -
