Chinese, Reproduction INCLINED PLANE TIMEPIECE, the circular canister rotates as it goes down the plane, however the movement is counterweighted so it maintains a fixed position. The downward motion provides a constant force to the time train. When the clock/canister reaches the bottom, the movement will stop and the unit must be moved again to the top of the plane. -
