Clocks- 11 (Eleven) antique and modern cuckoo clocks for parts or repair and 2 (Two) cuckoo clock cases including a shelf cuckoo and a carved case from the American Cuckoo Clock Co. depicting the fable of the fox and the grapes. Clock weights include 4 (Four) modern sets and 1 (one) older pair. -
Black Forest: Hans Konrad, Brux Czech Republic, Biedermeier style wall clock, 30 hour, time and gong strike, weight-driven movement with wood plates and brass wheels within a pine case with reverse painted glass front. The overall form of the case is typical of Black Forest Biedermeier wall clocks and the mechanism is essentially the same as most cuckoo clocks of this vintage. The elaborate case ornamentation features Catholic themes such as the cross, the Sacred Heart, and two small prints depicting Jesus. -
Germany, early Biedermeier cuckoo clock, 30 hour, weight driven movement in a wood case with stenciled floral design, fluted porcelain columns with gold accents and a white porcelain dial. Likely by Theodor Ketterer of Furtwangen, c1860. -
