The square movement is signed with Guilmet trademark, serial No. 1023. The briskly rotating pendulum, suspended from the center of the dome, is surmounted by clear and colored prisms that simulate the motion of a lighthouse beacon. c.1885 -

The impressive case with ormolu caryatids to the corners surmounted by a large pineapple finial, surrounded by 4 flame finials. The finely engraved dial plate is gilded and with subsidiary dials for chime-silent, F/S and tune selection. -
