France, figural brass mantel clock, 8 day, time and strike on a pierced base with two short pillars supporting winged griffon figures in profile flanking a central cylinder holding an ornate brass dial with blued steel hands and white enameled cartouche numerals in blue, surmounted by a decorative urn. The pendule de Paris movement with partially exposed pendulum is stamped "CHLES MT". -
