C.1870, French, Wood Cased Carriage Clock, time, strike, repeat, with calendar and alarm, the case with marquetry and line inlay. -
C.1890, French, Flower Clock, rare motif, with central petals revolving as the minutes, indicated by a tiny brass bug, next petal ring revolving as the hours, indicated by a fluttering insect of brass, and the numerals delicately painted on the outer 12 petals. The movement is contained within the flower pot, unsure of duration, but at least one day, perhaps more. -
