C.1920, Swiss, ÓLe petit ForgeronÒ, desk novelty. In a heart shaped opening in the bottom of the dial sits a little winged cherub making iron arrows at the anvil. His hammer is attached to the lever beneath the dial and appears to hit the anvil with every tick. A little spelter elephant is mounted to the marble base and appears to be looking at the time. -
