Tasma, Grouw, a monumental three train musical tall clock with full calendar, automata, and phases of the moon, mahogany case with molded base, fluted feet, canted corners, and carved bell flower molding with conforming marquetry band and central conch shell, the trunk with stop fluted half columns and Corinthian capitals, the door with carving and inlay matching the base, bonnet with stop fluted columns and Corinthian capitals below a pitched pediment with central carved basket of flowers, and three figural finials, brass composite dial with arcaded, silvered, roman numeral chapter ring, gilt spandrels, and engraved, matted center with calendar apertures, pierced blued steel hands, the arch with central moonphase aperture and polychrome painted landscape scene featuring two female musicians with lutes, their arms moving, as if to strum their instruments as the clock runs, and 8 day, three train, quarter striking musical movement, 7.5 inch cylinder playing 10 tunes on 12 bells, the quarters sounded on single bell, and striking the hours on a gong.
