Potonie, Paris, mantel or table regulator, rectangular, white marble, molded base supporting the glazed, arch top case, top with acanthus leaf engraving, sides with trefoil ornamented parapet, and case "floor" with acanthus engraving on a crosshatched field, Roman numeral white enamel dial with seconds chapter below 12:00, blued steel Breguet style hands, 8 day, time and strike movement with square plates, marked "Mouv Surfin", "D. Pontonie & Cie 8113 Paris", and "Horloger P. Bly" below the back cock, gilt, gridiron pendulum with white enamel insert
