France, crystal regulator, brass case with stepped base and top and with beveled glasses, the case front and dial center decorated with pink champleve enamel, the enamel ornamented with gilt shamrocks, gilt bezel, Arabic numeral gilt metal dial marked "Bailey, Banks & Biddle Co.", 8 day time and strike pendule a Paris movement with Brocot escapement, the mark of Japy Freres, and also marked A1, striking on a gong, gilt pendulum with pink champleve enamel with portrait of a stylish young woman painted with opaque overglaze enamel, her dress in transparent orange and yellow enamels and backed with foil, c1910 -

A brass ring around the equator shows 24 hours, and a pointer indicates local time for your "home" region. Wind, set and regulate from base. English possessions are shown in light orange, others in ivory color.
