(3) France, Comtoise "lantern" clock, 8 day, time and strike, weight driven movement with verge escapement, thread suspension with rear-hanging pendulum outside the plate in an iron post and plate frame, 7.75 inch faience dial with large Roman numerals in dark blue, single brass hand, resting on turned brass feet, topped by flat brass fronton flanked by two turned brass finials, two pivoted brass winding arbor covers, mid 18th Century. -

(2) France, bronze-front Comtoise clock, 8 day, time and strike with alarm, weight driven movement with verge escapement, thread suspension with rear-hanging pendulum in a posted frame, 25 white enamel panels inset within cast brass dial, two iron hands, pieced brass spandrels, and topped by cast fronton with backward facing Gallic rooster, mid 18th Century. -
