C.1870, French, 4-Column Empire Style ebonized case, 8-day time and bell strike mantel clock, new base, changed movement. -
France, Delettrez and Brocot, large 3 dimensional marble tambour clock with perpetual calendar and moon phase on the dial, the black slate accented with moldings of green- grey and black variegated marble. With a robust and oversize movement carrying the calendar mechanism between the front plate and the dial, rather than with a separate mechanism & dial, as we commonly see, c1860 -

Johann Baptiste Beha, Germany, Black Forest shelf cuckoo. 8 day wood plate spring-driven movement with 6 tune Swiss music box in base, actuated by the clock movement. Case of burled walnut, finely inlaid with satinwood in a scrolling floral design. The wooden dial carries 12 porcelain cartouche with royal blue Roman Numerals. This model "No. 593" is illustrated in Justin Miller's book, Appendix A which is the Beha catalogue reprinted. -
Johann Baptiste Beha, Germany, Black Forest small shelf cuckoo. 8 day wood plate spring-driven movement with double fusees in an elaborately carved case with foliate, vine and fence decoratoins. The wooden dial has Roman numerals and bone hands. This model "No. 509" is illustrated in Justin Miller's book, Appendix A which is the Beha catalogue reprinted. -
