Harvard Clock Co., Boston, with movement signed by the Boston Clock Co., marine timepiece, 8 day, time only, spring-driven balance wheel movement in a brass case with hinged bezel. The movement is also stamped with the important Dec. 28, 1880 patent date and serial number 1947. It seems likely that the Boston Clock Co. may have been using up dials and cases from its predecessor the Harvard Clock Company. -
