Jacob Guthart, Lebanon, Penn., tall clock, 8 day, time and strike, weight driven movement in a handsome cherry case with broken arch pediment set with concentric turned rosettes, three wooden finials, full columns flanking hood, shaped trunk door flanked by fluted quarter columns over base with matching quarter columns and recessed panel on bracket feet with cutout skirt. The painted metal is signed by maker and has moon phase, calendar and seconds bit. The dial was made and signed by "NOLEN'S MANUFACTY BOSTON ". -
Jacob Guthart, Lebanon, Pennsylvania, tall case clock, 8 day, time, strike and calendar with four hands off of center arbor, weight driven movement in a mahogany veneer case with a broken arch top, three wooden finials, four turned full columns over cove molded and chamfered sides flanking crotch mahogany trunk door all resting on French feet. The painted metal dial has maker's signature, moon phase and sweep seconds.
