John Elliott, London, England for Bigelow, Kennard & Co., Boston, Mass., tall clock, time, strike and Westminster chime on cathedral gongs, 8 days, three brass, weight driven movement in a mahogany inlaid case with floral motif on door and urn with flowers on base, both framed with herring bone inlay, Roxbury fretwork and brass capped full Corinthian columns on hood, three upper brass finials including center eagle finial, trunk door surmounted by clamshell carving and flanked by fluted quarter columns with brass caps and bases, all resting on a cutout skirt with ogee bracket feet. The brass dial has ornately cutout and engraved brass corner spandrels and profusely engraved dial center silvered chapter ring with applied brass numerals, hour strike / silent and Westminster chime / silent selectors and moon phase dial, c1910 -
