Michael Strieby, Greersburg, Penn., tall case clock, with significant restoration. 8 day, time and strike, weight driven movement in a cherry case with broken arch top, five turned wood finials, star inlaid rosettes and four full columns flanking hood, string inlaid cut corner columns, reeded accents on base and cutout Hepplewhite bracket feet. The painted metal dial with maker's signature has date calendar, sweep seconds and moon phase. -

F. Kroeber Clock Co., New York, "Indian Hunter V.P.", 8 day, time and strike spring brass movement metal front mantel clock. This a Nicholas Muller case No. 181 and is stamped on the case. The statue is copied from the original by John Quincy Adams Ward, a famous American sculptor, which was completed in 1886 and stands in Central Park, New York. Herman Muller, son of Nicholas and brother-in-law of Kroeber, was granted a patent for this case design in 1880, seven years after his father's death. -
