Tall clock attributed to Isaac Brokaw, Bridgetown & Elizabethtown, New Jersey. 8 days, time and strike, on bell, weight driven brass movement in a mahogany veneer case with high arch top, barley twist full columns flanking hood and barley twist and cross hatched 3/4 columns flanking trunk on a base with finely shaped skirt and straight feet. The American made painted metal dial has calendar date aperture, Arabic numerals and subsidiary and fruit motif, c1825 -
Isaac Brokaw, Elizabethtown, NJ, tall case clock, 8 day, time and bell strike, weight driven movement in a flat top mahogany case with tombstone trunk door. The brass dial has a silvered chapter ring, brass spandrels, circular calendar aperture at 6, second's bit and signature boss. -
