Note the dog in center of log cabin has a panting tongue, and the man at the left has his head bobbing back and forth as he tries to see what is going on. Two lovers at right in romantic embrace. Like other clock in this series, this one utilizes a small, pendulette movement, with the dog's tongue and gents head attached by a wire to the verge. -

Austrian, Gebruder Resch (Remember), smaller 2-wt, with 5.5" dial, as-found, LESS weights and pulleys. Has rod strike. Walnut case has robust 3/4 columns with heavily carved capitals and a nice carved head in the "built in" top, plus carving on the base.
