case cleaned, but retains a good old, and possibly original surface, base with minor bumps and dings, lettering on glass flaking and with repair, dial with fingerprint staining, hands good, beat scale with minor staining, pendulum frame with moderate tarnish, retains its original damascened surface, suspension broken, weight with minor tarnish and staining, movement with fingerprint staining, front plate with spot of corrosion, back plate with a few small spots of corrosion, back cock with scratches, will run, but would benefit from service. A fine example. This clock was sold at Fontaines Auction Gallery, Pittsfield, Mass. May, 2009, lot 125, having been consigned by a descendant of the original owner. .
