Description
Early "creuse" shaped enamel dial has some hairline cracks and a few repaired areas on the edge and where the mounting posts are located. Cast fronton had a small casting flaw on the left side of the sun. Black portions of the case have been repainted. The bell is a replacement and a bit too small. The movement is clean and has new red cord on the wood winding drums. The strike train has five wheels with the motion works being driven off of the third. Four bladed iron fly with large cutouts along the arbor. Wide feet on the movement uprights. Suspension shroud is 4.25 inches tall. The time train will require a larger-than-usual weight to power this clock. No pendulum or weights are included.
