Description

(1 ) Mahogany and rosewood veneered case has some loss the base and half-round columns. Original dial plate has been repainted. Original hands. Original decalcomania tablet of the U. S. Capital with its original dome with with some loss. Small damage to the spire tips. Clean label inside. Movement is signed. (2) Mahogany and rosewood veneered case in an old finish has some loss on the base. Original painted dial looks restored. Original hands. Mirror in door is a replacement. Movement has original brass springs. Some minor damage to the left spire tip. Clean label inside. (3) Mahogany veneered case in an old finish has a small veneer chip at the top and minor damage to the spire tips. Original dial plate has been repainted. Period hands with the hour hand replaced as it is too short. Original Fenn tablet has loss and a piece of green paper for the background. Label is very dark and unreadable. Movement is signed Original Terry & Andrews pressed brass pendulum bob. (4) Rosewood veneered case in a very old finish has some loss on the base and small damage to the left spire tip. Painted dial looks original, but has a couple of extra holes at the top. There is some loss and wear to the numbers and loss at the mounting pins and top. Movement has original brass springs, but may not be original to the case as it is an alarm movement and there is no evidence an alarm was ever mounted in the case. Original Fenn tablet. Period hands with the minute hand cut a little short.
