Description
The marble case is in very good condition with just a couple of small chips on the upper front edge. The lightning bolt patterns appear to be made with wax or shellac that was used to fill the pattern carved into the stone. The fine wire that completes the electrical connection near the suspension is out of position, so the movement will need attention to run. The movement has been wired to accept a modern "D" battery. The dial and hands are in very good condition
