Description

this is a large and imposing clock as shown, at 33Ó height and 23Ò width. Note it is missing its top trim, which if it was there would add another 10 inches. We searched through our books in hopes of finding this model, but do not find it. Perhaps someone over in Germany has one of these with a top to show us what it looks like. The dial is very elaborate, with a 10Ó brass dial plate, heavy scroll spandrels that are silvered, and then a superior chapter ring with 5 minute indications, Arabic numerals, and an embossed and gilded center with a winged cherub. Striking on a heavy gong with large brass tone base. Minor nicks to case, commensurate with its age. Ht 33Ò
