Description
(1) the Morbier-style is nice original condition, with ÓJacques AlmarÒ on its painted dial. Its movement is signed ÓSBS Feintechnik, Made in West GermanyÒ. One of its weights has a broken hanger top. Ht of case 16 1/2Ó. (2) The ornate watch hutch appears well made and complete; Ht 12 1/2Ò (3) this is in very nice original condition. The rotating arm turns very slowly, so service will be needed on the movement, probably just a little oil on the pivots. These were made in Germany to Charles TerwilligerÕs specifications, following the 1855 patent, but as an 8 days. Ht 7 1/2Ó; (4) The solid wood case is well made, the embossed brass dial mask is glossy, and the white enamel dial is fine. The large movement, with engraved back plate ticks and strikes but was not tested long term. Ht 16Ò
