Description
well the maid must have polished this weekly with Brasso, as the gilding is gone from the feet, quarter moldings and other accent pieces, now filled with white residue and exposed surfaces turned brown. This was an expensive piece when new, near the top of the line for the crystal series, and only enamel inlaid cases would have been more costly. This model probably made for a major N.Y. department store, as the movement is signed simply ÒMade in FranceÓ Will restore nicely. 2 vial compensating pendulum intact. Ht 14Ò
