Description

the rosewood case has had some restorations with various woods, and the #62A trapezoidal movement is correct for this early model, before it was known as the No. 2, The painted dial is very good, the nickel pendulum has a clear engraved pattern, the hands are correct, the front glass is wavy, the brass weight (perhaps should be nickel, also) has an old patina and a few small dents, and there is a good beat scale and partial paper label in the bottom. A small brass plate at the bottom indicates "W.P. Barrow, Torrington, Jany. 1889". The January 1885 date code is stamped on the back. Ht 36"
