Description
the case is extremely ornate, more typical of French cast metal cases, but rare and unusual in turned and carved hardwood that now is dry and dull. It is similar to a Morbier in construction, with a robust square-plate brass movement mounted in a rear box. The wood dial has enameled individual cartouche numbers. Ht 26.5"
