Description

The 1/2 hour bell strike movement is marked "Horlocerie Paris" in a round stamp with "AV" and 3857. The dial has porcelain Roman Numerals around a very ornate center. The case is topped with a cherub holding a shield and quiver of arrows. There are also serpentine dragons, 2 large griffins, a winged mask plus torches and bell flowers on the case. The clock is running at this time. It is slow to strike but it does. (The gilt finish is worn in heavy contact areas.) Dial - 7 1/2" Diameter; Case - 29" Tall x 18" Wide
