Description
There are 8 cup bells with 2 large gongs for Whittington and Westminster Chimes. With anchor escapement, No. 915, and sinew cords for weight suspension. The dial has a plain center and moon phase. The heavily carved case is made of dark stained oak. The figure on it may be associated with the Knights of Templar in some way. The panel near the bottom front has the face of the sun in it. Not tested. (The lower panel has a split in it.) Dial - 12"; Case - 93" Tall
