Description

The dial is marked Bailey Banks and Biddle. The bronze case has mythological masks, shell and other designs on it. The weights are original. The clock was made for Bailey Banks & Biddle of Philadelphia. Their names are on the dial. They opened a jewelry store around 1835 and were doing business as late as the 1980's and may still be active at this time. Not tested. (The chains need to be adjusted. The pendulum does not look as old as the clock. The weights are slightly dinged up.) Dial - 8 1/2 Diameter; Case - 24" Long x 16 1/2" Wide
