Description

Gong striking with moon phase and displays of the month, day of month and day of the week. (In this case, between the "II" and "III" "July" is shown.) Above the name, a woman using a rake is shown (probably a suggestion of a useful activity for that time of the year). At the "VI" an Arabic form of number 3 is shown as the day of the month. At the "IX" and the "X" the day of the week is spelled out, in this case, Sondag (Sunday). Above that a boy with a halo and lyre are displayed. The door has a small bronze framed window with a cardinal and basket of flowers. Not tested. (The striker is broken.) Dial - 12"; Case - 95" Tall
